My experience with Dr. Adam Kolker and his staff exceeded all of my expectations. I first had thoughts of breast augmentation after the birth of my second child. I wanted to reclaim my body and was not happy with the way my breasts had decreased in size after each pregnancy making my body disproportionate.

Being small in frame I had concerns about how natural they would look. I wanted to fill out my tops, feel proud of my body but still look professional at work.

Since I can't get enough of Dr. Kolker and his amazing staff I have since gone back to the office on a monthly basis for facials, injectibles and laser hair removal. From the very first time that I stepped foot in Dr. Kolker's office and met him and the staff there, I was completely at ease. I had a breast augmentation, and the overall experience, from the consultation through my last check up after surgery, was wonderful.

Dr. Kolker and his staff were there to answer any questions at any time before and after surgery. I'm so pleased with how the surgery turned out. There was virtually no pain (only minor discomfort) and they look completely natural.

I had a breast augmentation after spending many years thinking about it. I visited several New York City plastic surgeons and after meeting Dr. Kolker and his staff I knew he was going to be my surgeon. It is the best decision I have ever made and I am just thrilled everyday with my results. 

The in-office surgical experience is luxury at its best. It is the most beautiful office I have ever seen and Dr. Kolker is just awesome.  He was always available to me throughout the process, and even called me the night before adn after the surgery! I never thought of myself as a "plastic surgery" person but I couldn't help seeing my body change in ways I just wasn't happy with.  This wasn't about vanity; it was about seeking peace with myself to enable me to get on with other, more important things in life.   

When I was happy with my breast size, I hated my hips; when I worked out and lost weight around my thighs, my breasts were almost non-existent.  So I did my homework and decided to do something about it.   

I investigated with the American Board of Plastic Surgeons, and found Dr. Kolker.  My first appointment with him was grueling - I asked all kinds of questions, including moral questions about his personal philosophy; and for each question Dr. Kolker had a thoughtful and insightful answer.  He was patient and well-measured.  I think my first consultation lasted over 2 hours.  Then, after over a year of thinking about it, I decided to go ahead with the breast augmentation and throughout the entire procedure, Dr. Kolker and his office were caring, professional and detailed.  My boyfriend was probably more nervous than I was, and they were accommodating of his queries and questions.  

The surgery itself was exactly as I had been told and the recovery was also as I had expected.  I worked from home for a few days and was back in the office within a week.  And as for the result - amazing!  I still smile to myself when I catch my reflection in the mirror. I can finally wear clothes I never was able to before.  My breasts are so natural-looking, and so perfectly proportioned, I catch women looking at me in the changing room at the gym who are internally scratching their heads, wondering if they are real or not.  My scars completely healed within 3 months and now are absolutely invisible.

The personal attention, professionalism and treatment of me as an individual is what drew me towards Dr. Kolker and his staff, and what I recommend him to others for.  If you have been struggling with your body image, I honestly recommend that doing the hard work of self-acceptance is key.  I tried to do that, and realized I needed more.  After overcoming the internal struggles, I can honestly say it was a good decision for me.  I'm finally happy with my body and I can now use that part of my mind previously reserved for the express purpose of self-deprecation!

For many years I was embarrassed by my large breasts.  It affected my self esteem so deeply that I use to wear a sports bra over a regular bra trying to make my breast appear smaller.  I wanted to have a breast reduction

If someone asked me to name the number one thing I took away from going through with my breast reduction surgery, it would be confidence. 

As a ballet dancer of 17 years I was used to having a small figure.  When I matured late in life and developed a DDD chest size my life drastically changed.  I was forced to leave the ballet world and slowly lost confidence in my image. Dr. Kolker changed my life… I am 27 years old and for at least the past ten years I have been seriously considering having a breast reduction, but have always been hesitant about going through with it. 

I would go through phases where I couldn’t take it anymore and needed it done right away.  I had even been to see other plastic surgeons, but I would always leave with a feeling of something being wrong.  With constant back pain and a limitation to physical activities I decided to try and see another doctor.  Through a recommendation I ended up at Dr. Kolker’s office.

After my extensive first meeting with Dr. Kolker, I left knowing that the time was finally here for me to go through with this life-changing event, and that Dr. Kolker was just the person to perform my breast reduction surgery.  My emotions leading up to the surgery were everywhere, from excitement, to curiosity to sheer panic, but Dr. Kolker and his staff were there for moral support and reassurance whenever I needed it.

The morning of my surgery was very scary for me, but I knew the whole time I was in good hands, and I couldn’t wait for the final result.  Walking into the operating room I broke down into tears (of course overreacting on my part).  Dr. Kolker stood above me before we got started and wiped the tears off of my face; I was shocked to see a doctor have such compassion, and knew right then that everything would be fine.  Leaving the hospital after my one night stay, Dr. Kolker gave me his cell phone number and encouraged me to call at any point, which I did take him up on once or twice.  The care that I received from Dr. Kolker and his staff after the surgery was just as impressive - from the phone calls at home, check up visits, and emails to check in.

I am now at near full recovery and can’t believe how different my life is.  The pain is gone, vacations in a bathing suit are much more enjoyable, physical activities are easier, and my confidence is at an all time high.  The final result that Dr. Kolker left me with is astounding – he is an extremely talented surgeon.  To top it all off I am about to purchase my wedding dress and I now have so many more options. 

Knowing that I only have one or two more follow up appointments with Dr. Kolker leaves me bittersweet.  I know it means I had the courage to finally finish this process, but it also means that I won’t have any more visits with him, which I have now come to really enjoy.  I can never thank him enough for what he has done for me, and the entire time with such love and care.

How can I begin? From the age of 13 I knew something was not right so I knew that one blessed day I would be able to get my chest corrected. Upon my graduation from college I thought it a great time to begin my search for a New York breast surgeon.

Dr. Adam Kolker was the first doctor I consulted with and I was blown away by his warm character, medical merits, stunning beautiful office & staff. I thought this is a great place with amazing results but I could not left myself choose the only doctor I had ever seen. So I continued to have consultations with various surgeons none with whom I instantly liked or felt comfortable. I then gave Dr. Kolker another call & set up a second meeting.

Going in I knew that Dr. Kolker & his staff we the angels I wanted to put my trust in. I felt so comfortable and safe in his office, with his staff, and his plan of action for my breast asymmetry. The day of my surgery I was of course very anxious , excited & scared naturally because this would be the first time in my life I would be going under the knife. 

When I awoke I felt fine just a little sore, they turned on my favorite soap opera and I was happy as can be. In the days after surgery I was great, feeling fine no bleeding or pain. I took my medicine as prescribed and waiting to get the bandages removed.

Then the fateful day came; my post-op consultation. All I can say is that they looked phenomenal I could not believe my eyes. Dr. Kolker had done something ALL other surgeons had told me was not possible. He made the impossible, possible I could not believe it took a possibility and turned it into my reality! They looked amazing no visible stitching, scars or lollipop incision others had told me were unavoidable.
