Dr. Kolker is a doll.  Kind, professional, attentive and meticulous.  His staff is not only good looking but on the ball with a friendly, professional attitude.  His office is beautiful.  However, all of that would mean nothing if the physician in question wasn't a skilled, well trained, meticulous surgeon with an artist's eye and a skilled hand. 

He operates with the intent of making a difference with a finish that is natural.  I had a facelift and return frequently for botox and juvederm injections.

I have a close relative that had a facelift by another well-known surgeon and for the six weeks after surgery only saw his nurses.  After my facelift, Dr. Kolker saw me personally five times in two weeks and would have seen me more if necessary.  While I was on the table in recovery, the nurses told me that all the staff of the hospital used Dr. Kolker because he is so good.  I also got a recommendation from another patient who had a facelift.  She is an operating room nurse and had seen hundreds of facelifts by other plastic surgeons and she chose Dr. Kolker because he is so terrific. I am so gald I did too. His work is world class. 

Although Dr. Kolker is a Park Avenue doctor, he doesn't only treat Park Avenue patients. He yearly donates his services to Operation Smile and shares the photos and stories of his little patients that would live a markedly different life had Dr. Kolker not helped them with corrective surgery for their cleft palates.

As you can tell, I recommend him highly for his skill, his kindness and being a doctor in the old fashioned sense of the word, someone who cares for his patients.

When I decided to have plastic surgery, despite a number of recommended surgeons in Sydney, Dr. Kolker, being a highly trained board certified, New York plastic surgeon was my clear choice.  I liked the idea that I could go away on "vacation" and return home looking truly refreshed! 

I met Dr. Kolker when he was undertaking postgraduate studies in Australia, which involved craniofacial reconstructive surgery on children.  I was instantly impressed with his commitment to his work and devotion to his patients and hoped one day I would be fortunate to have him “repair” me when the time came.

After my initial consultation on a visit to New York, Dr. Kolker and I communicated by email.  His very capable practice manager, Jillian arranged for me to have pre-operative screening and testing when I arrived in New York.  At my second consultation, it was decided that I would have a neck lift, liposuction on my chin, a face lift, eyelid lift and a brow lift. 

My sole stipulation was that I should look "natural" and the fact that I had had cosmetic surgery should not be obvious.  Dr Kolker recommended fat implantation to give me a "softer" and more natural appearance.  I accepted his professional opinion and agreed to his recommendations without hesitation.

On the day of surgery, I was greeted at the surgery by Jillian upon my early morning arrival and I was prepared for surgery by Jackie, Dr. Kolker’s nurse.  After consulting with Dr. Kolker and the anesthesiologist, I felt a sense of excitement as I settled into the OR. 

I woke, some hours later feeling relaxed and at ease. I was confident in the hands of Carol, the recovery nurse, who attended to my every need and ensuring I was comfortable. At no stage did I suffer any pain, and after a couple of days I was able to venture out – wearing rather large sunglasses!

The faith I had placed in Dr. Kolker was borne out by his skill, care and attention, pre and post operatively extending from my first consultation to the 12 or so days afterwards until I left New York. My entire dealings with the staff in the office were professional, courteous, caring and efficient.

Now, three and half months from my facelift procedure, I receive many compliments on my appearance.  I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Kolker and his staff to anyone contemplating cosmetic surgery.

Since my first breast enlargement surgery with Dr. Kolker was such a success, I went back to him for rhinoplasty.  Again, another great experience!  It looks as though I was born with this beautiful nose thanks to Dr. Kolker. 

From the very first time that I stepped foot in Dr. Kolker's office and met him and the staff there, I was completely at ease. The first time I was there was in 2002. I had breast augmentation in May of 2002 and the overall experience, from the consultation through my last check up after surgery, was wonderful.   Dr. Kolker and his staff were there to answer any questions at any time before and after surgery.  I’m so pleased with how the surgery turned out.  There was virtually no pain (only minor discomfort) and they look completely natural.

Since my first surgery with Dr. Kolker was such a success, I went in again in August of 2006 for rhinoplasty.  Again, another great experience.  It looks as though I was born with this nose thanks to Dr. Kolker. 

I’ve also seen Dr. Kolker for botox and restylane and have seen the medical aesthetician for laser hair removal who does a great job and makes you feel very comfortable during laser procedures.

Walking into Dr. Kolker’s office is like walking into a friend’s home.  Dr. Kolker, Jillian, Jacki and Lauren and so friendly and the best at what they do.  Surgery can be a scary thing, but not in this office... you couldn’t find better care elsewhere.

I first went to Dr. Kolker's office to find out about a breast lift.  Kindly and thoroughly, Dr. Kolker explained the procedure, the pros and the cons, and showed me before and after photos which were amazing. Gently, he guided me to the conclusion that I really didn't need one, at least not yet.  I then asked him about Botox and he agreed that I could benefit from it and explained how it worked. 

I was, however, wary and he suggested I think about it.  He and his staff were so kind, warm and patient, answering all my questions and never making feel like I had wasted their time.  When I finally did it, Dr. Kolker was so gentle and supportive.

I am thrilled with the results!  As told, a crease on my forehead that had bothered me for 15 years disappeared!  Even more, with the tension that I held in my forehead gone, I feel so much more relaxed.  I am so pleased with the natural looking results.  Even my husband, who was supportive though not enthusiastic, thinks the results look great.  Eventually, he even gave it a try and is thrilled.
